HERE and THERE

You said you would

always be THERE,

so I ran THERE,

hoping to be THERE with you.

When I finally got THERE,

I searched everywhere for you,

and I sadly discovered,

that I was HERE.

No matter where I went,

I was HERE,

and you were THERE.

And then I realized

that we could never

be together

Because you would

always be

THERE…

And I would

always be

HERE.
